Maria Solomon is the Managing Attorney for Stevens and Goldwyn, P.A. She received her Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance from Barry University and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami. She initially practiced in the public sector as a prosecutor for public agencies including the Office of the Attorney General. Later, she entered private practice as counsel for major banks and financial institutions, focusing primarily of foreclosure litigation. As a senior attorney, Ms. Solomon mentored and trained numerous attorneys/staff and went on to manage large departments within a number of firms. Additionally, Ms. Solomon oversaw compliance and audits within the firms as well as regular client interaction to ensure best practices including training for the default/servicing industry. She presented and developed training as to “The Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform Act and Consumer Protection Act-Key Considerations for the Judiciary” for the Judicial Education Initiative for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida. Ms. Solomon is a member of the Florida Bar Association.
